Delete Your NaijaWetinDey Account

NaijaWetinDey allows users to request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

How to request account deletion

To delete your NaijaWetinDey account:
1. Send an email to hello@naijawetindey.com
2. Use the subject line: “Delete My NaijaWetinDey Account”
3. Include the email address or phone number associated with your account

What data will be deleted

Once your request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:
• Your account profile
• Login credentials
• User-generated content (posts, events, listings)
• Saved preferences

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited data where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
• Security or fraud prevention logs
• Legal or compliance records

Retention period

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Any retained data is kept only for the minimum period required by law.
